Thanks for the -gnome-games tip, I'm now getting much further.

After all the packages have been installed, I get this error and mic2 exits

 Installing: gnome-packagekit ##################### [755/755]

authconfig: Authentication module /lib/security/pam_fprintd.so is missing.
Authentication process will not work correctly.
authconfig: Authentication module /lib/security/pam_pkcs11.so is missing.
Authentication process will not work correctly.
Unable to create image : Unable to copy valid kernels or initrds, please check
the repo

I often get mic2 failures "503 Service Unavailable" - maybe repo servers are
being overloaded ?

Advice for next steps welcome.

Henry

The first problem may be cause by your unready netlink in the first
time.

To skip the temporary missing packages problem, you can modify kickstart
file to remove gnome-games by adding:
-gnome-games
in %packages section
