Chris... We've been successful getting the UBlox device turned on in Moblin(with the assistance of the Intel field guys for Compal) and we've also been successful with the assisted GPS capability offered by UBlox to decrease the TTFF on the device.
I'm sending you the short program that was written in our team to turn the device on in Moblin (works in Midinux as well). The assisted GPS support for the NEO-4S is on the UBLOX website. The name of the vendor escapes me, but I have been told they do have proprietary software that can be licensed for a specific solution (which doesn't help out with generic, freely redistributable Moblin.) Perhaps somebody on the list remembers the vendor (or better yet has an email contact). --rusty On Thu, 2009-07-02 at 10:00 -0700, Bird, Christopher A wrote: > What can I do to get the internal GPS device (from the Jax10) enabled in > Moblin 2? > > Chris > _______________________________________________ > Moblin dev Mailing List > [email protected] > > To manage or unsubscribe from this mailing list visit: > https://lists.moblin.org/mailman/listinfo/dev or your user account on > http://moblin.org once logged in. > > For more information on the Moblin Developer Mailing lists visit: > http://moblin.org/community/mailing-lists _______________________________________________ Moblin dev Mailing List [email protected] To manage or unsubscribe from this mailing list visit: http://lists.moblin.org/listinfo/dev or your user account on http://moblin.org once logged in.
