Yes, Jing is right. You need to check mutter source codes, which is patched metacity source codes. Actually, the mutter-moblin is a library. So in mutter source codes: src/compositor/mutter/mutter-plugin-manager.c, the function mutter_plugin_load uses g_object_new to generate an instance of mutter-moblin plugin. At the moment, mutter_netbook_plugin_init will be invoked.
