Thanks a lot for your answer. I tried setting gtk-enable-mnemonics = 1 in the application and the shortcuts are working fine in Moblin.

The new user experience does not have the ability to minimise an application. Use the Zones system instead. We think it's better. For 2.0 we have set gtk-enable-mnemonics = 0. We are working with GTK+ upstream to bring the mnemonics in when you press alt but they will never be shown by default.
