With any luck the majority of services which require a username and
password will also have a non-insecure method of authentication, such as
OAuth.  With this you don't need to store the username or password
locally at all.

If your mojito service says that it wants a username and password from
the web services settings then at present the settings application will
write both of those to GConf.  This should be changed to use the
gnome-keyring in the future, I've filed #5523 to remind myself about
this.  That said, patches very welcome. :)
