As I mentioned earlier the Toshiba NB200 (and its sister the NB205) worked 90% out of the box - with the only exception being the Alsa sound drivers.
The Ubuntu guys have a cooked up some very minor alsa patches which add support for this netbook. I'm not sure the process for getting alsa patches included in Moblin - but these patches would add the Toshiba Next gen netbooks to the supported list. Here are the patches and their source: 1) Ubuntu Bugzilla Reference with the patches. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/389040 2) Developers web server with patches in the directory (there are 3 patches in total) http://people.canonical.com/~ogasawara/lp389040/jaunty/ This patch adds Speaker/Headphone output of alsa audio to Moblin on the Toshiba NB2XX series netbooks (sold in the Europe, North America and Japan). It also enables the built in and plug-in Microphone. I manually applied the patches to Moblin and rebuilt the kernel - works great. So if any enterprising dev wants to add another Netbook (actually 3) to the 100% supported list these patches are all that are required.
