Hi, Clayne, Last month I met this issue too. Just in case you really need that old image, you can remove any conflicting package with "rpm -e <package_name>", and then reinstall newer version with appropriate dependencies "yum install <package_name".
Hope this helps! 2009/9/3 Rusty Lynch <[email protected]>: > metacity? clutter-0.8? > > Any reason you are trying to use such an old image? > > --rusty > > On Thu, 2009-09-03 at 11:17 -0700, Robison, Clayne B wrote: >> I'm trying to run yum update in the VMWare development image from moblin.org >> and getting an error: >> >> "Missing Dependency: libclutter-glx-0.8.so.0 is needed by package >> metacity-20090115-2.3.moblin2.i586" >> >> Obviously, I don't expect clutter and metacity to work in the image (at >> least not well), but I'd like to get all of the other updates. >> >> Any ideas? >> >> Thanks. >> >> Clayne Robison >> Application Engineer >> Intel Corporation >> Salt Lake, UT >> 801.445.0297 >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Moblin dev Mailing List >> [email protected] >> >> To manage or unsubscribe from this mailing list visit: >> http://lists.moblin.org/listinfo/dev or your user account on >> http://moblin.org once logged in. >> >> For more information on the Moblin Developer Mailing lists visit: >> http://moblin.org/community/mailing-lists > > _______________________________________________ > Moblin dev Mailing List > [email protected] > > To manage or unsubscribe from this mailing list visit: > http://lists.moblin.org/listinfo/dev or your user account on > http://moblin.org once logged in. > > For more information on the Moblin Developer Mailing lists visit: > http://moblin.org/community/mailing-lists > _______________________________________________ Moblin dev Mailing List [email protected] To manage or unsubscribe from this mailing list visit: http://lists.moblin.org/listinfo/dev or your user account on http://moblin.org once logged in.
