Sorry, there had been a previous thread on the subject with others reporting the same problem so I assumed that it was well known. 2.6.29.3-14.1 works fine with the N270 + 945GSE (IEI Kin-945GSE board) 18bit plus 15 inch 1024x768 |LCD. When I try to run 2.6.30.3-4.1 From USB on the same hardware the LCD shows "drifting" (undefined) patterns after the initial selection screen. The VGA output is fine. Its as if the 945GSE LVDS port has been initialised to a different mode when it switches to 1024x768.
