Subject: [Moblin Dev] Live USB did not work!

I downloaded the ".img" file and used dd to install it onto an unmounted USB
stick. However, when I restart the computer with the USB stick plugged in, it
never loads or boots, it simply boots from the hard drive. I properly set it in
the bios to load (and it worked with a fedora live usb) yet it doesn't load.
What might be wrong?

I followed this:
http://moblin.org/documentation/test-drive-moblin/using-moblin-live-image

And I did:

     umount /dev/sdb1

     dd bs=4096 if=moblin-netbook-beta-refresh-20090818-001.img of=/dev/sdb1

And it did put the files on the USB stick but it did not recognize it as
bootable. What am I missing?
