Clayne,

I also noticed that /etc/profile does not work in recent Moblin releases.
Instead I added my settings to /etc/bashrc, this works fine for me and should
hopefully work for you.

Thanks,
Petter

Subject: [Moblin Dev] defining an environment var at X startup

Hello,

I'm trying to define an environment variable when the default user's X session
starts. I've tried /etc/profile and /etc/rc.local, but neither works. What is
the recommended location for this so that run level 5 apps can access $MY_VAR:

export MY_VAR=my_val

Thanks.
