To add to Joel's comment, the FPGA drivers are only included in certain builds
of Moblin (ie. IVI only), and the driver versions line up with certain builds
of the FPGA code, so you need to make sure you have a match.

There are quite a few different Moblin Alpha versions. Most likely you don't
have support for the Congatec Board Timberdale FPGA that interfaces to the
Ethernet chip. When you got the Congatec kit didn't it include a single
printed page telling you how to get software releases specifically for this
board?

When used ifconfig command to bringup eth0, got below error
[vis...@localhost ~]$ /sbin/ifconfig eth0 up
eth0: unknown interface: No such device
Please help me to bringup Ethernet on congatec. The same works fine on Atom
Portwel Board without any issue.
