The Empathy client using telepathy-sofiasip supports sip through the sofia sip stack for SIP calls. I'm not sure if its supported or integrated into the moblin teleapathy stack with moblin people. I don't see it in the moblin repos and I haven't tested with the Moblin that's in fedora.
