in detail, and what needs to be done to solve it (hint, it involves
vmware, not moblin).
If you mean setting up hard disk as IDE instead of SCSI, that I had
done.
How it seems to me based on my own experience and browsing the archive
is that Moblin 2.1 cannot be run on VMWare (Fusion 3.0). Period.
The screen remains in black showing white "moblin" text. Does not
progress further.
This was the most informative piece:
"unfortunately, vmware currently doesn't have the level of 3D
graphics support that the moblin UI
needs (including DRI2, KMS and NRX) and as a result this is
currently not going to work.. "

I will try to ask VMWare to support those technologies.
