oooops you are right there is a mismatch between kernel and driver
version....

[r...@roby-desktop ~]$ uname -r

2.6.31.5-10.1.moblin2-netbook

> [r...@roby-desktop ~]$ rpm -ql wl-kmod

/lib/modules

/lib/modules/2.6.31.6-17.1.moblin2-netbook

/lib/modules/2.6.31.6-17.1.moblin2-netbook/wl.ko

how can it by the drivers are compiled for a newer kernel version respect
the one I am currently using? doh.. really dunno what I did.. :p

now I uninstalled the wl-mod package, but when I try to rebuild it with the
command:

> rpmbuild --rebuild --target=i586 wl-kmod-5.10.91.9.3-1.moblin.src.rpm

I get this error message..

+ /usr/bin/make -C /lib/modules/2.6.31.5-10.1.moblin2-netbook/build
> M=/home/Roby/rpmbuild/BUILD/wl-kmod-5.10.91.9.3/wl-kmod-5.10.91.9.3-src
> modules

make: *** /lib/modules/2.6.31.5-10.1.moblin2-netbook/build: No such file or
> directory. Stop.

error: wrong exit state from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.G5V1cX (%build)
