Thanks for your useful wiki page. From what you attached, I guess you were using GUI of Moblin Image Creator, not Moblin Image Creator 2. The GUI of MIC2 is called Moblin Image Manager and we have doc as you linked(http://moblin.org/projects/moblin-image-manager). It has several improvements and should function image creation/convertion/chroot/VM launch/USB write for Moblin>=2.0
