Not really :-( If you look at the .apt source there is already an extra line in there, but it does not get rendered. If there is a blank line (not a table row as it is now), then the tables for each category are detached and the formatting looks even worse.
If we want to have more control over the style of this page I think we need to use xdoc instead of apt.
