Corridor Software Developer commented on MXMLBEANS-22:
------------------------------------------------------
Rereading the patch, it is clear now that it removes stale file support (i.e.,
don't recompile if it isn't necessary.) and subsequently clear that you are
attempting to inflict an angry mob (of all 3 users) upon me. :)
If we can discuss what you are contributing a little bit (and if I'd get off my
keester and read your link, I'm sure) maybe we can work this in soon.

> This patch provides a new lifecycle "xmlbean-jar" and support for two-pass
> compilation which is necessary to use the Extension Interfaces feature found
> in XMLBeans 2.x. See
> http://wiki.apache.org/xmlbeans/ExtensionInterfacesFeature for details on
> that feature.
> Note that in order to get reasonable errors when compiling extension
> interfaces, the plugin MUST use xmlbeans 2.1+. This patch adjusts pom.xml
> accordingly.
