using the velocity template also has the advantage of giving us the ability to
auto-document this default template in the plugin docs.
+1 on using the project.url instead of the repo url.
We will probably add a global codebase value later on.
If you send me an integration test, a patch that works for all mojos (we may
need a custom default template for the jnlp download servlet), then this baby
goes in as soon as I have time. (I'll be offline for ca 10 days starting
tomorrow).
