Benjamin Bentmann commented on MOJO-1096:
-----------------------------------------
This is simply a misconfiguration and is not related to this particular plugin:
bq. {{<stylesheet>${project.build.resources}/tranformation.xsl</stylesheet>}}
The expression project.build.resources refers to an object of type
{{List<o.a.m.m.Resource>}}, it can't be used as a path. I'm not sure whether
Maven currently provides a way in its expression syntax to reference elements
from a collection. What Joerg wants would look more like:
{code:xml}
<stylesheet>${project.build.resources[0].directory}/tranformation.xsl</stylesheet>
{code}
But then, you're dependent on the ordering of the resources. Hence it seems
advisable to just hard-code "src/main/resources".
> xml-maven-plugin should allow maven properties within the value of the
> stylesheet property

> The xml-maven-plugin should allow maven properties within the value of the
> stylesheet property.
> {code:xml}
> <execution>
> <phase>process-resources</phase>
> <id>Create transformed instance</id>

> <goal>transform</goal>
> </goals>
> <configuration>

> <transformationSet>

>
> <stylesheet>${project.build.resources}/tranformation.xsl</stylesheet>
> </transformationSet>
> </transformationSets>
> </configuration>
> </execution>
> {code}
> Currently the maven output shows the hash of the java object:
> {{
> FEHLER: 'D:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (Das System kann den angegebenen Pfad nicht

> }}
