Dan Tran commented on MOJO-1132:
--------------------------------

openjpa plugin does not depend only any version of OpenJPA,it just needs on
during testing.

I also have no problem run the build with openjpa 1.0.2 and the immenent 1.1.0
release.

what version of java are you using. Mine works with 1.5 and 1.6

> Please publish a version of the openjpa-maven-plugin for OpenJPA 1.1.0 as
> soon as it's available

>
> The openjpa-maven-plugin depends on a very old version of OpenJPA - 0.9.6,
> which in fact seems no longer available from where the openjpa-maven-plugin
> tries to get it.
> The release of OpenJPA 1.1.0 is imminent. Could you please Please publish a
> version of the openjpa-maven-plugin for OpenJPA 1.1.0 as soon as it's
> available?
> Even better, if there was a way to specify the version of OpenJPA that the
> openjpa-maven-plugin should use for the enhancement in the POM, that would be
> the best. I played a little bit with dependencyManagement and
> pluginDependencyManagement but couldn't figure out how to "override" the
> dependency.
