Sorry, not sure I can follow you. What exactly is "invalid" about the
URL? If I paste it into my browser, I reach the Codehaus mail archive.
The trailing slash is unnecessary according to [0] and I just removed
that but it seemed to work nevertheless.
I updated the archive URLs after noticing that the old ones, e.g.
http://archive.mojo.codehaus.org/dev/
have apparently changed and effectively redirect to the wrong place.
What was indeed defect was the entire generation of the mailing list
report, I had a typo in the goal name. Do you mean that?
Do we have projects using this new pom yet.
I guess not many, only few people tend to inherit from snapshots since
it's blocking releases. If you only wanted a live example, I just
updated the JavaCC Plugin to inherit from the new parent version so feel
free to play with that.
If not, we may want to wait.
Wait for what exactly? Do you have specific concerns?
In the past, I suggested several release managers to apply stuff that is
already present in the latest parent (e.g. help mojo generation). So I
believe there is actual need for a new parent.
