There seems to be a bit of overlap with versions-maven-plugin...

I am against overlap as it leads to user confusion....

I see no reason why we could not accomodate the refactor mojo in versions...

mvn versions:refactor -DoldGroupId=___ -DnewGroupId=____
-DoldVersion=____ -DnewVersion=____

for other pom based manipulation I see nothing wrong with a pom-maven-plugin...

but given that versions-maven-plugin does 95% of what teh refactor
mojo does already I see versions as a better fit.
