The -app.zip file is attached without its qualifier

When doing {{mvn install}}, the zip artifact looses its qualifier:
{fixed}[INFO] Installing <myproj>/target/<myArtifactId>-4.4.1-SNAPSHOT-app.zip
to
~/.m2/repository/foo/bar/<myArtifactId>/4.4.1-SNAPSHOT/<myArtifactId>-4.4.1-SNAPSHOT.zip
{fixed}
(what's this zip file for anyway? Is there anyway i could not attach to the
build, while keeping the dmg attached?)
