Key: MANIMALSNIFFER-14
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MANIMALSNIFFER-14
Project: Mojo Animal Sniffer
Issue Type: New Feature
Components: ANT Tasks, Enforcer Rule, Maven Plugin
Affects Versions: 1.6
Environment: Apache Maven 2.2.1 (r801777; 2009-08-06 21:16:01+0200)
Java version: 1.5.0_16-p9
Java home: /usr/local/jdk-1.5.0/jre
Default locale: de_DE, platform encoding: UTF-8
OS name: "openbsd" version: "4.8" arch: "i386" Family: "unix"
Reporter: Christian Schulte
Assignee: Stephen Connolly
Priority: Trivial
I think the 'animal-sniffer' should be updated to allow for checking against
multiple signatures instead of just one. For example, if you want a project to
be checked against JDK 1.5 + JAXB 2.1 + JPA 1.0 + JTA 1.0, you would have to
create a single signature for that particular combination of APIs. With support
for multiple signatures, one could create signatures for the single APIs and
specify them separately.
