I wanted too use jasperreports-maven-plugin with newer version of jasperreports
(4.0.1) so I upgraded the plugin code.
I added dependency for groovy (the version used by new jasperreports version)
and now it can compile templates written in groovy language.
I decided to removed *compiler* option in the plugin configuration. It's
default value prevented jasperreports from guessing correct compiler for the
template. Also in 4.0.1 the option itself is deprecated so I don't think it has
big use now, however I'm not a jasperreport guru myself.
Could You please update the plugin code to new version? The current one is way
too outdated to be used with modern jasperreports.
