Sasha Ovsankin commented on MAPPASM-54:
---------------------------------------
Sorry, but I don't agree with this "keep it clean" line. The job of _this_
plugin is to create scripts. If the script is broken (cannot be executed) then
this plugin is not doing its job. Handing off to the assembly plugin may be a
workaround but it is not the solution.
Not holding my breath for reopening the issue but felt I should at least try.
> make unix scripts executabe (on unix)

> When appassembler creates the shellscripts, they do not have the exectuable
> bit set. It would be nice to have this (at least on unix). This is especially
> important when creating a tar file for redistribution.
> This could be an optional feature: Try to exec chmod, and if it fails, just
> ignore it.
