Ansgar Konermann commented on MANIMALSNIFFER-23:
------------------------------------------------
Hi Stephen,
I've got stuck while migrating
[maven-drools-plugin|http://passion.forco.de/content/maven-drools-plugin] to
Maven Central.
Due to some (legacy) Drools APIs not available in Maven Central, I'd like to
use the Animal Sniffer Plugin to at least deploy API signatures of those to
Central. This way, I could compile the plugin against the newer Drools APIs
which *are* available from Central, but still ensure compatibility with all the
legacy Drools APIs.
Of course, I'm on Maven 3 already and would rather not install Maven 2 just to
generate a few API signatures.
Are there any chances to have this ticket fixed in the near future? I saw
there's a patch attached already.
I'd be willing to help testing any potentially upcoming releases.
Anyway, thanks in advance.
Best regards
Ansgar
