Knut Vidar Siem commented on MRPM-87 Create SRPM Doesn't this require that the plugin somehow assembles the actual source files to one or more source assemblies e.g. tar.gz, and then make use of the Source spec file tag? Currently the plugin takes a shortcut and puts the mapped sources directly into the build root. I this would be very interesting and a step in the right direction for this plugin – towards producing spec files and source assemblies, even SRPMs, that can later be used without Maven.
