Milos Kleint commented on MNBMODULE-193 multithearded signJar in webstart-app goal re 1. I aware of what parallel task does, what was unclear to me why is the "brandingDir.isDirectory()" check there. Why cannot we always use the parallel task? re 2. webstart is fairly obscure technology to me. I'm not even sure why we now ship a war file. Last time I maintained the plugin, we created a zip and let people process it later using regular maven tools if they wanted a war file. Related to issue MNBMODULE-114 I guess. It appears that we do what the ant netbeans harness does, with the exception of failing when jnlp servlet jar is missing. I think we should just fail as well and introduce a parameter for the jnlp servlet file location.
