We've got a quite complex build with parent pom and dependency management. In this case, the transitive dependency resolution from maven-webstart-plugin 1.0-beta-3 is wrong, adding e.g. spring-core-3.0.7.RELEASE.jar to the webstart client but spring-core-3.2.0.M2.jar is dependency managed.
As the project is open source you can try the bug in real life from http://repo.or.cz/w/nuclos.git (branch vaadinclient). Culprit is nuclos-war.
