This morning I had a look at the processes running in memory. I found a lot of instances of diskimages-helper:

After trials and errors, here is what I discovered:


    
	
  1. When no such process is running, I can bundle the application in a x.dmg image as many times as I want.
    2. 
	
  2. If I open the x.dmg image, execute the application, terminate it and unmount the image, an instance of diskimages-helper remain in memory.
    3. 
	
  3. Now, when I try to bundle the application again, it fails.
    4. 
	
  4. If I kill the diskimages-helper instance and wait a few seconds, I can bundle the application again.
    5. 





Question: is the .dmg file constructed correctly? Doesn't it mess up the operating system?
