Leon Chadwick commented on MVERSIONS-242 versions:use-latest-versions doesn't see dependencies with both TYPE and SCOPE declared MVERSIONS-204 reports the same problem, but doesn't highlight the fact that its inclusion of BOTH type AND scope, that causes the issue. (I reiterate that BOTH have to be in there for the particular usage required for pom imports, so removing one is not a workaround).
