Yes, this is very important and we should make it a separate issue. Edward Yoon
is working on a guideline "How to contribute to MRQL" at
http://wiki.apache.org/mrql/Contributors
We should probably copy the guidelines from another ASF project that uses GIT
as a starting point and then revise it for MRQL.
