I will have some free time to help with maven in the next few days.
The first thing to do is to restructure the source directories to be ready for
maven and change the build.xml file accordingly.
This will allow contributors to change the source but they will have to use ant
to build the system.
Later, we will just have to write the POM file to make it work with maven.
