I would just like to provide summary for the discussion about moving to git. Based on the DISCUSS thread (I know that it wasn't vote thread, 1) It appears that we all agreed as we got 5 +1s namely from:
* Joey Echeverria * Jim Donofrio * Jarek Jarcec Cecho * James Kinley * Dave Beech (even thought Brock has started the discussion, he did not formally send the +1 so I've excluded him) Based on the last Brock's email (2) I would say that there is a blocker as someone from the project have to stand up and actively participate in the transition.
