I know. This is more a general comment to the group. Again, nothing
wrong with the ideas. There are some exciting possibilities to
consider for sure.
Fair enough. There's definitely some work that needs to be done before the project is restructured. I do think, however, we should revisit this topic when the time is appropriate.
In the long term, it's wise for us to work to ensure that it's easy for people to find open source components to work with, and having an organized way of handling their development will be beneficial to JSF's adoption as a whole. I've talked to a lot of people who have developed components (myself included), and it'd be great to organize their work better.
