thanks for supporting MyFaces.
But I think I don't understand your problem.

I just looked at 
http://myfaces.apache.org/builds/1.0.9/rc1/myfaces-1.0.9.tgz
and saw that

both,

tld containts 
"org.apache.myfaces.custom.regexprvalidator.ValidateRegExprTag"

also the JAR for the myfaces extras.

Perhaps you can help me abit?
