It is my understanding that jsp tags are processed by your container's jsp 
compiler and not by JSF.   I doubt there's anything that can be done about the 
problem from MyFaces.  Are you using a different jsp compiler when you try it 
with the Sun RI?

Correct me if I'm wrong, and we'll reopen the issue.
