I think I faced the same problem, but in my case it could be avoided by starting the maven build from a subdirectory (http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/myfaces-dev/200604.mbox/[EMAIL PROTECTED]). I was hoping that someone with more experience with Maven would know what the problem could be. If not, I'll try to look into it myself this evening.
