Bug is reproduced easily by changing "calendar.jsp" in Tomahawk examples:
Go to:
<t:inputCalendar id="secondOne"
Remove:
helpText="MM/DD/YYYY"
Add:
onfocus="alert('onfocus works!');"
PS
onchange, onblur and onselect works.
