[ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MYFACES-1414?page=comments#action_12457799 ] Jeff Bischoff commented on MYFACES-1414: ----------------------------------------
Mike, You are right, that would be nice. Maybe we can have those added someday. (Maybe people would like to create examples and submit them to JIRA as improvements?) Here's where I think the confusion comes from: Originally, Tomahawk was *not* a separate add-on. Myfaces Core and Tomahawk were one tightly knit product that included both a JSF implementation and the extensions. They have since been decoupled into separate products with their own (semi) independant release schedules. So those 1.1.1-examples that you are seeing? These are the same 4 sample projects (which have since been updated of course) that are now called the Tomahawk examples. It's just that at the time, Tomahawk wasn't released separatedly. I don't think we have ever had an examples artifact that was devoid of any references to Tomahawk components. (Someone please correct me if I am wrong) I hope this explanation helps? > Invalid resource link on Getting Started page > --------------------------------------------- > > Key: MYFACES-1414 > URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MYFACES-1414 > Project: MyFaces Core > Issue Type: Bug > Components: website > Reporter: Popcorn > > On the Getting started page (http://myfaces.apache.org/gettingstarted.html), > the URL referred to by "here" does not have the MyFaces examples webapp > archive.
