The reason: By accident I found a JSF 1.2 impl, which seams to be open source at least that page says that: http://www.operamasks.org/Licence.jsp The main page is http://www.operamasks.org/ The page is owned by a company (selling/providing containers) http://www.apusic.com/ In case of Apache 2.0 License, we can speed up your implementation.
