I'm sorry Simon, but I'd have to disagree with you one this one.
1/ The popup just didn't work (i.e. even with "popup = true")
2 & 3/ Dep'ing on the taglib used, often the cal icon isn't even rendered (->
just an input field is visible). This itself means there also is another
problem: doesn't ship with a correct param description in the taglib
4/ The (white) spaces added, if the icon shows, is a cosmetic issue (least
problematic)
So... reducing this to "adds whitespace" really seems a bit short to my taste.
No matter what config I tried, also with help of others, I never got it
functional (not even talking about the cosmetic Nr 4).
Hence the original title: "t:calendar unstable to disfunctional".
