Thanks for the zipped test, it helps a lot.

I have tried the problem and it seems to be related to the myfaces api and impl 
version you are using (1.1.3).

With myfaces core 1.1.5 no errors found using tomahawk 1.1.6

With tomahawk-1.1.7-SNAPSHOT it is necessary to define the extensions filter or 
disable the check for this configuration. Again no errors found, but we have to 
do some enhancements to the hierarchy of HtmlDataScroller (inherit from UIPanel 
instead ext.HtmlPanelGroup).

Try with myfaces core 1.1.5 and let us know what happen, so we can close this 
issue as invalid.
