tr:convertDateTime leniency: dates or times without separators

It seems feasible to me that
1) one more type of convenience pattern would exist, one without separators
2) there was allowed leniency for time inputs as well like there is for dates
In particular, I'd like to have it working by default like the following:
1) date: 210199 --> would mean "January 21st, 1999"
2) time: 1600 --> would mean "16:00"
Whether it's feasible when it comes to internationalization, I don't know, I
didn't think about it much...
