thanks for the quick reply.
Maybe I should have mentioned some things:
1) I had to modify the "tomahawk / pom.xml" because with Maven 2.2.1 the
dependency to myfaces 1.2.9-snapshot cannot be resolved (unable to find in
maven repositories). If you like I can post an error log. So I've changed the
tag "myfaces-core12-version" to 1.2.8-snapshots to be able to run the "mvn
clean install" command correctly. If I've done something completly wrong please
tell me I'm a newby in using maven to build trunks ;-).
2) For the tests I've used the succesfully created
examples/simple20/myfaces-example-simple20.war file.
3) For me it doesn't work in IE 7 (I know I should update).
4) I've used spoon browser plugin (http://spoon.net/browsers) to check it with
IE 8 and for me it doesn't work either.
5) I've coded a simple xhtml page with a form and a javascript to retrieve the
form.id via document.forms and it worked in IE 7.
I hope this additional info is useful for you to find the problem. If not let
me know if I can provide more debugging infos.
