Serious, I upgraded from some ancient plugins to new versions, so we should 
definitely test this carefully.
There are 2 areas where we should take special care:

a.) the new site-plugin might behave slightly different.

b) the new apache-parent-7 provides a standard source release packaging 
mechanism. 

This is all we need for an official Apache release, but MyFaces historically 
also provided a binary package.
Where is the assembly descriptor which we used to build this package? We should 
review and test if this still works.

Donald Woods wrote a very good documentation about the release process with 
Nexus for Apache BVAL:

I successfully used this docu as hintbook for releasing OWB already ;)
