Werner, I guess you misused <h:outputScript />:
<h:outputScript value="some value" /> does not produce any output. You should
use <h:outputScript resourceName="..." libraryName="..." /> instead.
I think what you meant was <h:outputText value="some value" />. However, this
should work with <cc:insertChildren />. Could you please verify this?
