Yes, that's true too. But "br" is officially booked for the Brazilian
community as well.
Can they give it out, I am not sure that a project needs more than 1
domain name. Then again the best bt would b to ask them.
I don't think is about 'give' or 'need it', is about end-users
confusion: 'br' is the code for Brazil, so using it for something else
would confuse end users, which will see 'br' and expect Brazil
