Open Office is a company in Amsterdam (The Netherlands). This company already existed before 'our' OpenOffice.org project was born.
The Amsterdam based company Open Office (their name is registered in the Benelux and they are the owner of the domain name openoffice.nl) is sponsoring the Bluefish open source project by providing hosting. The Bluefish project-lead happens to be family of one of the CEO's of Open Office.
